- Eyeshadow colors in silver, plum, charcoal, and black.
- Black liquid eyeliner.
- Natural looking false lashes to open up the eye, especially when using darker tones on the lid.
- Mascara (L’oreal Paris Voluminous is a favorite!).
- Soft pink blush.
- Rose pink lip color (NYX Mega Shine Gloss is my pick!).
#1 Tip for makeup: Use brushes! Blend out each color as you apply to have a seamless look. (Bargain buy: Sonia Kashuk Brush Set from Target has all the basics.)
For those who are not makeup savvy, or prefer a look more natural, the biggest holiday trend going this year is a nude eyeshadow with a pop of color on the lip, such as wine, plum, or red! If using a darker color, be sure to use a lip liner and concealer around the lips to prevent the color from bleeding.

Soft curls that can be worn down, pulled to one side, or loosely pinned up for a tousled look.
Products & Tools Used:
Paul Mitchell’s 1 in. barrel curling iron
Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam
Paul Mitchell Super Clean Light hairspray
BigSexyHair Root Pump Plus
BigSexyHair Spray & Play
All these excelent hair products have been reviewed in the Startifacts’ guide
Step by Step & Tips:
Sculpting Foam is a conditioning mousse that gives the hair a foundation to build upon, and can be used when the hair is wet before you blow dry. I also use Root Pump Plus while the hair is wet. It is a spray mousse used to give volume and lift at the root. After the blow dry, I used two working sprays, Super Clean Light and Spray & Play, and comb through the hair.
Once product is applied, section out the hair and curl taking 1 in. sections at a time. After the hair is curled, it can be pinned up and set with pins, or it can fall loosely. Do NOT touch or re-curl pieces until hair is completely cool from the curling iron. If the hair is touched while warm, the curl will not hold nor last through the night.
