Minnesota Governor Tim Walz greatly respects the Jewish community even though he follows Lutheran Christianity!

Since Tim Walz is a Jewish supporter, he once showed his support for Israeli community as well.

Date:

The 41st governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, who is reported to be Kamal Harris’ probable vice presidential candidate, was born and raised as a Lutheran Christian; however, he appears to have a great sense of admiration for the Jewish people.

On December 23, 2019, Tim shared a status on his Facebook wishing Jewish people a peaceful holiday in their festive time. He wrote, “I felt honored to stand with our Jewish community to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah today...”

Over the years, Tim Waltz has repeatedly voiced for the rights of the Jewish people. On September 2023, while speaking against antisemitism, the Minnesota governor wrote that everyone should stand with the Jewish community regardless of their political affiliation.

Likewise, recently, during Jewish American Heritage Month, he stated, “The story of Jewish Minnesotans brings to mind both proud and painful chapters of our history.”

Tim Walz is fully committed to the growth of Minnesota people regardless of their religion and color!

Being the governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz appears to have shouldered the full responsibility of his state to ensure the rights of the citizens of his state, whether they are Jewish, Christian, Muslim, or are they of white or black.

Four years before, he attended faith leaders at Dar Al-Farooq after that attack on the Mauritanian political activist Imam Mohamed Mukhtar and advocated for the safety of every Minnesotan.

Later, he shared a glimpse of the event on his Facebook, writing, “Every Minnesotan deserves to be safe – regardless of their religion or the color of their skin.‬”

Well, considering this, Tom Walz is undoubtedly a responsible politician who knows how to fulfill his responsibility toward his citizens. No wonder that Democrats recommended Tim Walz as the potential VP for Kamal Harris.

Additional Information

  • Tim Walz was born to his parents, Darlene Rose and James F. Walz, in West Point, Nebraska, on April 6, 1964. He is currently 60 years old.
