Savannah James, an NBA wife, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and mother of three, grew up in Akron, Ohio, where her parents raised her along with her four siblings.
Savannah James was born on August 27, 1986, in Akron, Ohio, United States, and raised there by her parents, Jennifer Brinson and SK Brinson.
While her father SK is a businessman and interior designer, her mother, Jennifer, was a registered nurse who worked for a long time as a care giver.
The couple, Jennifer and JK Brinson share five children together, two sons, Jerold and Eric, and three daughters, Deidra, Shannon, and Savannah. Among their five children, Savannah is the youngest.
As a highschooler Savannah James feared sharing her first pregnancy with her parents
Lebron James and Savannah James met in St. Vincent–St. Mary High School, a private Catholic school in Akron, Ohio and started dating since then.
He was just a freshman in the NBA and Savannah was in her senior year of high school when they found out they were pregnant with their first child.
However, as Savannah and Lebron were not expecting such a huge change in their lives at a crucial point, she was very scared to share the news of her pregnancy to her parents.
Savannah recalled those moment during an interview with Harper Bazaar and said, “I was thinking, What am I going to tell my parents?’ What’s going to happen to his career?’ I was very scared. I was bawling.”
Additionally, she also mentioned that her parents never sat her down and explained the complexities of a relationship which made it more difficult to share the news to them.
However, Savannah eventually shared the news to her parents and her now-husband Lebron was right there with her throughout.
