Gabriel Diallo, a 22-year-old emerging as a prominent tennis player in Canada, was born and raised by parents of different countries and ethnicities.
Canadian tennis player Gabriel was born on 24 September 2001 in Montreal, Canada, to parents from different countries. His father was born in a small village in Guinea, West Africa, and his mother is from Ukraine.
In this regard, Gabriel once said, “My dad comes from a very small village, you can’t even see it on the map, actually. Me and him tried to go on a map and see it, and it doesn’t appear on the map. I’m not even kidding.”
Besides, he shares a great bond with his parents, as seen in the highlights of his Instagram stories. They are often spotted supporting their son at different matches on the tennis court.
On February 3, 2024, he celebrated his win over Seongchang Hong of the Republic of Korea at the Davis Cup qualifiers with his mom and dad on the court.

22-year-old tennis player Gabriel Diallo’s hor cheered after he won the match and secured his place in the third round of the US Open on August 29.
Shortly after his win, he gave an interview in which he acknowledged the support from his team and family members. Meanwhile, he said, “It wasn’t easy. I knew it was going to be a tough match.“

He also added, “Luckily I managed to stay calm, I had a great support from my team, my family members and they push me when there are moments of doubts.”
Besides, when Gabriel was asked which player inspired him in his tennis career, he named Milos Raonic and Felix, who he was always compared to, as the players who inspired him.
