Jasmine Paolini’s focus appears to be on her professional life rather than her love life, as her interviews are all about her achievements, not her husband or boyfriend

Date:

With a historic win against Donna Vekic in the Wimbledon Championships semi-final game, Italian tennis player Jasmine Paolini garnered admiration from sports enthusiasts worldwide.

Earning such status, which she recently acquired in the Wimbledon semi-final, had always been her dream. In an exclusive talk with BBC Sports on July 11, she said, “I love playing tennis. It is a dream. I was watching finals when I was a kid at Wimbledon.”

She further mentioned that she is enjoying the stuff that’s happening and trying to live in the present moment.

It apparently states that her current priority is her flourishing tennis career, suggesting that Jasmine Paolini might not have contemplated settling down with her husband.

Also, it doesn’t seem like Jasmine has a boyfriend; at least, the media is not informed about it.

Jasmine Paolini’s only love appears to be tennis since the age of 5

Rising tennis star Jasmine Paolini was five years old when her parents, Ugo Paolini and Jacqueline Gardiner, introduced her to the sports world.

Talking to WTA Tour, she stated, “I remember that my father and my mother told me, you have to choose one sport to do.” At a young age, Jasmine was indecisive. But since she had always noticed her uncle Andriano playing tennis and enjoyed it, she went for it.

Jasmine first picked up a tennis racket at age 5 and trained for years. Success came for her in 2013, when she won her first career match at the J4 Wilson ITF junior classic.

After that, she qualified for the 2013 US Open tennis tournament, made her junior Grand Slam debut, and reached the third round of the Australian Open.

However, her professional tennis career began in 2015 when she got a wildcard entry at the Italian Open. Jasmine played several tournaments over the next two years but gained prominence as a player only after she debuted on the WTA tour.

Now, Jasmine Paolini has accomplished a new career height, reaching the final round at Wimbledon. After her terrific win, she thanked her parents, who always supported her during her athletic journey.
