Charlotte’s Anna Cockrell, who recently gained a new career height by advancing to the final of the women’s 400-meter hurdle in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, has been happily in a relationship with her boyfriend, Parker Dijay Sims, for the past five years.
On June 1, 2024, she shared an Instagram post revealing her relationship timeline with her partner. Meanwhile, Anna wrote a lengthy caption stating that they went on their first date to an Indian restaurant a half-decade ago.
Anna Cockrell further flaunted the deep bonding she shared with her beloved boyfriend, Parker, writing, “We’ve been mutually obsessed with each other ever since. It’s not our anniversary, but it still feels like a milestone worth celebrating.”
Ever since then, the two have chased their dreams together, backing up each other in whatever situations occur. As a live-in couple, they have explored places like LA and Texas, and now, they divide their time between Arkansas and Miami.
Well, half a decade has passed, and the two are still going strong. Moreover, the couple anticipated having a great time together the next five years, as Anna lastly wrote, “My mannnnn🤭❤️❤️ can’t wait to see what the next five years look like.” The two appear to have shared a ring as well.
Anna Cockrell’s partner, Parker Sims, is currently doing PhD in physical therapy at the University of Miami!
After a handful of experience as a physical therapist, Anna’s boyfriend, Parker Sims, enrolled in the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2023 to earn a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
He was previously a BBA student, but despite that, he pursued PhD in Physical Therapy since he developed an interest in it after suffering a significant knee injury while studying in his first year of college.
As mentioned in his LinkedIn profile, he will become a PhD doctor in 2026. Before pursuing a PhD, he worked as a Physical Therapy Technician at the FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centres from April 2022 to April 2023.
Likewise, he was an Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation Aide at Providence for seven months.
Further, his professional endeavors include the assistant Basketball coach position at Irvine Valley College. Anna’s boyfriend also did an internship at Alpha Physical Therapy and Performance, Inc.
