A Twitter user named Sir Cabonena Alfred had shared the news on his Twitter, writing, “Unconfirmed reports say Russell Zuma was involved in a car accident and he passed away. Ohhh My God!” and the news soon spread like a fire across the Internet.

The news certainly distressed his well-wishers, as they soon took over his recent Instagram post and expressed their concern for Russell Zuma. Beneath the comment section, an Instagram user named Tumi wrote, “Yoh! I’m seeing nothing on Twitter about him. I hope it’s not true.”
Likewise, another fan commented, “Can he confirm or something? However, the truth is quite the opposite: the singer is very much alive and healthy, and this has been further clarified by Russell himself sharing a post on his Instagram.

A day back, Russell Zuma took to Instagram to address the matter related to his demise through a long post issued under the name of his record label.
An official statement titled ‘Artist Russell Zuma is Not Deceased; Clarification and Urgent Call for Accuracy in Reporting‘ clarified the singer/songwriter’s good health while raising concerns about the spreading of the demise hoax.
As stated in the notice, Russell is now working on new songs. Likewise, right before the news of his demise spread, he shared two posts related to his concerts all around the country. He has scheduled his most recent concert for August 10.
Meanwhile, his fans, who are desperately waiting for his concerts, are more than happy to see the official confirmation from the singer’s side that he is still alive and nothing has happened to him. So, the news of Russell Zuma’s accident is merely a hoax.
