Oran Routh, the son of Ryan Routh, who is currently under custody for the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, was taken under the law by the authorities for possessing child-explicit files.
The authorities searched his home after receiving a complaint, resulting in an arrest as they found child abuse materials in Oran’s home in North Carolina.
Investigators found the evidence in a Samsung phone in his bedroom. Oran Routh, whose age is already in the mid-30s, had a series of videos of men with girls under the age of 10.

In addition to the phone in his bedroom, another phone was found, which contained a downloaded folder with videos of a young girl assumed to be 6-8 years old.
Further, the investigators discovered a messaging app commonly used by criminals to distribute such disturbing materials.
Well, the record shows that this is not the first time Oran has come under the law. He has already pleaded guilty to assaulting a female in 2018, NBC reports. Like his father, Oran is now in federal custody and does not have an attorney.

Ryan Wesley Routh is currently under investigation after being accused of attempted assassination of Trump at the Trump International Club.
But when Ryan was first considered a suspect, Oran Routh stood up for his dad, insisting that his dad could not committed such a crime.

He says he is unaware of his father owning any kind of weapons such as a gun. Reaching out to DailyMail, Oran said, “He’s my dad and all he’s had is a couple of traffic tickets, as far as I know. That’s crazy. I know my dad and love my dad, but that’s nothing like him“.
Oran further stated, “He’s not a violent person. He’s a hard worker and a great dad. He’s a great dude, a nice guy, and has worked his whole f**king life.“
He also confessed that he and his father do not talk much now and have experienced a falling out. Adding that he was unaware of his whereabouts since they had grown apart.

- Ryan Routh worked as a general contractor in Hawaii where he used to build small homes. He also owned a roofing company previously.
- The FBI found illegal drugs and paraphernalia while the search was conducted in Oran Routh’s home.
