On this day… 3 years ago!

It’s so hard to imagine that it’s been three years since that day… I vividly remember walking through the Mall at Millenia with my ginormous handbag filled with my prize possession – my first issue. It contained my heart, my vision, my sleepless nights, frustrations, excitement, anxious tension, pride.

Without wanting to appear like an ambulance chaser, my eyes would gravitate to the young and pregnant moms. They were, I imagine, shopping for the holidays. I remember graciously asking some of them if they would like to read my magazine.

Nervous.

Vulnerable.

Would they like it?

I stopped at many shops, asking permission to leave a few copies for their guests. Most said yes. I was elated.

There it was. Published.

Three years later, I still get the same giddy feeling when an issue is published. I know each page by heart, but I still take a moment with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and read it from cover to cover.
