Ermira Mira Murati, an Albanian engineer, researcher, and tech executive, recently announced her departure from OpenAI on Wednesday, September 26.
The 35 year-old tech executive took to her Twitter to announce that she is stepping down from her role as chief technology officer at OpenAI.
Furthermore, Mira Murati became the CTO of OpenAI in May 2022, replacing Sam Altman, the former CEO and co-founder. In her Twitter post, she expressed her gratitude to the company’s team, stating that her six and a half years with OpenAI have been an extraordinary privilege.
