Recently, American mixed-martial artist Mike Perry lost his fight against Jake Paul in the BKB World Cruiserweight Championship. Following his defeat, BKFC part-owner Conor McGregor announced his firing from the championship through Twitter.
On July 21, 2024 at 11:03 AM, Conor wrote, “Hey Mike youre released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship…. You’re fired@bareknucklefc.”
Well, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship had signed Mike in October 2021, in a reported signing amount of $600,000. And it’s obvious that the Championship has been a major source of income for Mike since the signing.
But, now as, Conor announced that he fired Mike from BKFC, and if in case it’s official then Mike Perry could lose his value in a near future, which will eventually affect his net worth.
However, for now, risk is still under control as Mike stated that he is also an equal part-owner of BKFC, so Conor can’t fire him like that.

In an exclusive talk with MMA Fighting, Mike Perry revealed that BKFC has paid him a lucrative amount. He said, “I have to say they put about $8 million on contract…I’ll just go ahead and put that out there...”
He further stated that since BKFC has put the multi-million dollar money on paperwork, he is ready to earn that because he has his family and all the expensive stuff to handle on.
Further, he alo has accumulated a $600,000 payday by defeating Thiago Alves at BKFC Knucklemania IV on April 27, 2024, making the highest-paid Knucklemania fighter in history.
Amassing such an amount, he, of course, has established himself as a boxer with a high market value. But the current circumstances following his defeat with Jake Paul will likely to depreciate the net worth he has amassed so far—well, that’s yet to be observed.
