Talking to The New Yorker, she also said, “I’ve never been single. I’m in a grief season with it. But I also feel a sense of freedom.” Maggie Rogers said all of that but didn’t reveal the name of her ex-partner. However, it seems her fans did that work for her, as they’ve come up with a person in mind.
Maggie’s fans on Reddit say she was dating fellow artist Holden Jaffe, aka Del Water Gap (DWG). According to them, Maggie and Holden went to school together and formed Del Water Gap, which means DWG was a duo band.
However, Maggie left it to do her own thing, whereas Holden stuck in and made it his solo project as a songwriter and producer. Maggie’s fans also say that the two were together before and during the Surrender era.
