Laura Coates, a former American attorney and CNN chief legal analyst, experienced motherhood for the first time in 2012, and soon after, she got pregnant with her second one, becoming a mom of two in two consecutive years.
The anchor gave birth to her first child, Adrian Gordon, on November 20, 2012. In 2023, she shared a Facebook post on his 11th birthday, writing, “I cannot believe that my little boy turns 11 today. He is an incredible human. He makes me so proud each and every day.”
Years have passed since her baby boy was born, but only some time ago, she disclosed that she nearly lost her life while giving birth to her son due to the need for multiple transfusions
Furthermore, Laura Coates conceived and became pregnant with her second child soon after the birth of her son and welcomed a baby girl in 2014.

In the video, she mentions that her children are very inquisitive about many things, and as a mother, it has been challenging for her to answer all their questions.
Furthermore, the anchor also expressed that she wanted to treat their childhood like a museum, curate their experiences, and shelter them from the harsh reality of life.
