Kelly Andrade, who working as a nanny for the millionaire, Michael Esposito, has been compensated after finding out she was being secretly filmed by her employer.
Kelly Andrade was paired with the Espotio family, owner of three LaRosa Grill franchises after months of training under the Cultural Care Au Pair agency.
She lived with the family taking care of their four young children. They stayed in a lakefront Tottenville house and Kelly was provided a bedroom.

Eventually, within three weeks of her job, Kelly noticed that Michael was often re-positioning the smoke detector in her room.
When Kelly decided to check it out, she discovered that there was a hidden camera in the smoke detector with a memory card loaded with her explicit video recordings.
As soon as she found the camera, Kelly shared with the New York Post, “He seemed very nervous and he seemed very worried when he arrived to the house.”
She ran away jumping from the window and reported the incident in 2021. The jury awarded $780,000 in emotional distress damages and an additional $2 million in punitive damages.
Although the compensation sum is huge, Kelly is not satisfied with Esposito’s punishment
In March 2021, Michael was arrested after Kelly complained and handed the police the memory card. He was charged with unlawful surveillance, a crime punishable by up to four years in prison.
However, he was let go provided that he served two years of probation and counseling. Kelly has shown dissatisfaction with the verdict.

She states, “It’s not enough for the whole situation I’ve been through these three years…..I was angry because the damage that he caused me is irreversible.”
The netizens have also agreed in the comments and say she deserves more compensation for what she has been through.
Kelly’s attorney, Holzberg argued that Esposito got away with no consequences. He says the probation is only like a slap on the wrist.
“Esposito gets to return to his wife and kids while Kelly is on the streets“, Holzberd added.
Kelly Andrade is currently on the road to recovery and hopes to move forward from the traumatic emotional experience.
