Kamala Harris, a candidate for the US presidential election, has lately been criticized for her accent, which people thought was fake, during her speech at the Labor Day rally in Detroit, Michigan, on September 3, 2024.
A user on X named The Constitutional Conservative posted Kamala’s video and captioned it: “A montage of Kamala Harris & her multiple FAKE accents. There is nothing genuine about her.”

Likewise, another Twitter user named GregPrice compared Kamal’s accent in two different videos and wrote, “Kamala Harris speaking in Detroit earlier today vs Pittsburgh a few hours later. Same speech. Two entirely different accents. She’s the fakest human being that has ever lived.”
Well, this is not the first time Kamala has been criticized for her accent. About a month back, Laura Loomer accused Kamala Harris of using a fake accent and considered it as a disrespect towards the black community.

Despite the controversy about her accent, Kamala Harris is receiving a lot of support from the public and renowned names.
Among various names who support Kamala Harris, former President of the United States Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama are also the ones. They even gave a speech at the DNC in her support.
Gabriel Gifford, an American retired politician, is also endorsing Kamala Harris for the US presidential election. On her X, Gabriel shared a video in which she talked about a tragic incident that happened to her, with the caption, “Today, I was proud to speak in support of Kamala Harris.”

Likewise, in an interview with CNN, Jimmy McCain, son of the late Sen. John McCain, former presidential candidate, also mentioned that he plans to switch to a Democratic party and support Kamala Harris for president in November.
Additionally, the governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, also supports Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for the election. She took her X handle to share pictures from the Harris-Walz ticket and celebrate the unions and workers rally in Detroit, Michigan.
Well, many other names, such as Lynda Carter, believe that Kamala’s win can make America accessible and thriving.
