The notorious Mexican drug dealer El Mayo, aka Isamael Mario Zambada García, has currently been taken into custody by US federal agents in El Paso, Texas, with Sinaloa Cartel’s former leader Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman’s son Joaquin.
Mayo has always been on the most wanted list but has never been apprehended. This was the first time that police took El Mayo to prison, and this can be regarded as quite a huge accomplishment for authorities.
Well, El Mayo has been in the drug business since he was 16 years old. He started so early that he groomed his family in business later in life. Meanwhile, his wife, Rosario Niebla Cardoza, and their children also have an active participation in his illegal business.

El Mayo and his wife Rosario share four daughters: Maria Teresa, Midiam Patricia, Monia del Rosario, and Modesta, into their marriage. Likewise, the couple has a son named Vicente Zambada Niebla, aka El Vicentillo.
Apart from that, El Mayo also had romantic associations with five different women, with whom he reportedly had five other children.

As per several reports, El Mayo fathered a daughter named Teresa Zambada Ortiz and a son named Serafin Zambada Ortiz, aka ‘The Will,’ from his relationship with the woman named Leticia Ortiz Hernandez.
While Teresa appears to have a low-key life, her brother Serafin is a recognizable name in the drug industry who was born on May 27, 1990, and will be 34 in 2024.
Further, El Mayo has at least one son, Ismael Zambada Imperial, alias ‘Mayito Gordo,’ from his romantic connection with Margarita Lopez Imperial. Isamel also followed in his father’s footsteps. In 2022, San Diego federal court handed him a verdict of 9 years imprisonment.
Ismael Zambada Sicairos, aka ‘Skinny Dead,’ is another son that El Mayo has had with another woman, Maria del Refugio Sicairos Aispuro. Similarly, he apparently has a daughter, Ana María Zambada Lara, with Alicia Lara Camberos.
Well, all the children of El Mayo, including his kids with his wife, have a big involvement in the drug world.

- El Mayo’s first daughter, Maria ‘Maytecita’ Teresa, was born on June 17, 1969, and is currently 55 years old. According to various reports, she is an educator by profession.
- His other daughter, Midiam Patricia, is 53 years old, Vicente is 49, Mónica del Rosario is 44, and Modesta is 42.
- While Modesta graduated with a law degree from the University Studies Center of Culiacán, Mayo’s other two daughters, Midiam and Monica, studied Business Administration at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa.
- Reports suggest that, despite being a graduate, Mayo’s all daughters assist their father in his illicit business, resulting in their listing on the US blacklist. They allegedly own the company in the US, which produced black money for their father’s company, the Sinaloa cartel.
