Clint Keown, one of the most talented multi-sport athletes in Evansville, Indiana, recently passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, in a car accident at the age of 44.
According to reports, the tragic accident of Clint Keown took place in Crawford County, Illinois, while he was returning from Robinson, Illinois.
Likewise, Crawford County Sheriff Bill Rutan told the Courier & Press that the investigation is ongoing. Still, he confirmed that it was a one-vehicle incident and that the driver had passed away.

However, the passenger in the car, identified as Matthew Redd, survived the accident but suffered serious injuries. He was immediately taken to an Evansville hospital.
In response to the demise of sports icon Clint Keown, many of his family members, friends, and loved ones have expressed their sorrow through their social media platforms.
Clint Keown’s brother, Casey Keown, shared a heartfelt post on his Facebook, stating how great and cool person and family man he was. Similarly, a friend of his stated that Clint was the kind of friend who always supported and made everyone happy.

Clint Keown, a former University of Evansville basketball player, and his wife, Hannah Keown, have a son named Colby Michael, who turned four on April 12, 2024.
Furthermore, the late Clint Keown was also a wonderful father to his two stepchildren, a daughter and a son. He often shared pictures of his wife and children on social media, expressing his love for them.
The couple and their three children were living a happy and adventurous life together, traveling to different places before the tragic accident occurred.
Clint Keown’s wife, Hannah Keown, is a mortgage loan originator at InterLinc Mortgage in Evansville, Indiana, United States.
Before joining InterLinc Mortgage in August 2023, Hannah worked as a Mortgage Loan Originator at German American Bank for over four years.
She was also the Bank Manager at Fifth Third Bank from 2013 to 2018. Likewise, Hannah earned her bachelor’s degree in arts and communication from Old Dominion University.
