Chappell Roan, a 26-year-old singer and songwriter who identifies herself as a queer, revealed in an old TikTok video that she almost married twice.
A TikTok video featuring Chappell from 2023 resurfaced and gained attention in June 2024, where she shared bunch of interesting facts about herself while getting ready.
She starts the video by saying, “Some of you may know my music randomly, but do you randomly know me?” “Let’s do some random facts about me.”
While disclosing the facts about herself, she first revealed her actual name, Kayleigh Rose, and then slowly started talking about how she got into music. Meanwhile, she also shared that she never thought of being a singer but wanted to be an actress.
Additionally, adding a random fact about her relationship history, Chappell Roan said, “I’ve almost been married twice, and that’s all I’m gonna say about that.” Well, that was something interesting to know about her.
Chappell Roan fantasized about women while dating men!
Since rising to fame, Chappell Roan has mostly kept her relationships private. But having said that doesn’t mean she never hinted at her past romances.
In August 2023, the singer told The Los Angeles Times that her singles Red Wine Supernova and Naked in Manhattan were expressions of her desire for her first lady crush.
Likewise, Chappell added, “I was dating a boy then. I had never even kissed a girl when these songs were written. It was all what I wished my life could be.”
The singer also reveals that she dates a woman but fears kissing her in public because homophobia is back in her head.
Despite not revealing the person she’s dating, Chappell has always been open about her being queer and dating a woman.
In a conversation with Rolling Stone, she said, “I met this girl that I like, but can’t commit to because I feel like no one understands me.” She also revealed that the girl was not from the music industry.
