American dancer Cat Glover, who recently passed away, was reported to have survived a coma in 2013!

Cat Glover was survived by her son Tony and other family members.

Date:

Cat Glover, aka Catherine Vernice Glove, best known as the former choreographer, singer, and dancer for Prince’s band, met an ultimate demise on September 24, 2024, at the age of 60.

Her family announced the sad news on her official Facebook account, writing, “It’s with great sadness that we formally announce the passing of Catherine Vernice Glover—AKA “Cat.” Please allow her children, family, and friends privacy during this difficult time.”

While the family didn’t disclose the reason behind her demise in the statement, many appear curious to know what actually happened to Cat Glover. At the same time, there’s a group who is apparently contemplating if she was in a coma before dying.

Well, the circumstances surrounding her sudden demise are yet to be revealed, but as far as several reports suggest, Cat’s survival of coma happened in 2013, not now.

Her daughter Angel reportedly disclosed the illness that Cat Glover suffered a decade ago on Facebook (which seems to have been removed now), saying that she was in the hospital for a month and two weeks, and of those 30 days, she remained in a coma on life support.

Reports suggest that Cat Glover was professionally inactive in her latter years

During the 1980s, Chicago native Cat Glover earned decent recognition as a professional choreographer, dancer, singer, and rapper.

She became a television star by participating in the hit talent show Star Search alongside her dance partner, Patrick Allen. The two competed on the show with the name Pat & Cat and succeeded in amassing admiration from huge audiences.

Then, she started working with renowned American singer Prince, performing and choreographing on his several albums and tours, including the 1987 Sign O’ the Times and the 1988 album Lovesexy, skyrocketing her career.

While still collaborating with Prince, she also released her extended play, Catwoman, in 1989. However, since the 90s began, she completely disappeared from the mainstream entertainment industry.

Decades later, she tried to resume her career, playing Officer Haynie in the 2022 short Brenda & Oliver, but sadly, that didn’t happen. In her latter days, she remained pretty active on social media, reminiscing about her old days most of the time.
