Anthony Mims, aka Big Jook, popular as the older brother of American rapper and music executive Yo Gotti, tragically passed away at the age of 47.
Big Jook was famous not only as Yo Gotti’s older brother but also for his entrepreneurial skills, which amassed him a significant net worth in millions throughout his career.
Likewise 2012, Big Jook co-founded the record label Collective Music Group (CMG), one of the renowned label companies in Memphis, Tennessee, with his brother Yo Gotti.
The CMG Label has further worked with several well-known American rappers and singers, including Moneybagg Yo, Blac Youngsta, BlocBoy JB, and GloRilla, successfully releasing several hit songs.
Similarly, Big Jook’s noteworthy contributions to the music industry as a CMG label co-founder accumulated a considerable income, adding to his net worth before his tragic demise.
Moreover, very little information about Big Jook’s other ventures and sources of income is available as he preferred to maintain a private life away from the public eye.
Looking at the late entrepreneur’s luxurious lifestyle and outstanding entrepreneurial career, Big Jook’s earnings might have been in the millions. However, the actual networth of the late Big Jook hasn’t been revealed yet.
Late millionaire Big Jook allegedly placed a $100,000 bounty on rapper Young Dolph!
The trial of 36-year-old Young Dolph, who passed away on November 17, 2021, has led to new information. According to reports, prosecutors in his homicide trial told the jury that the late Big Jook ordered a hit to execute Young Dolph for $100,000.
Furthermore, two men, Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith Jr, have been charged with first-degree homicide of Young Dolph, aka Adolph Thorton Jr.
Justin pleaded not guilty in the trial of September 24, 2024, whereas Cornelius Smith testified that a third man, Hernandez Govan, told him and Johnson that Big Jook had placed a hit on Dolph’s head worth $100,000.
Smith also stated that they agreed to the hit, giving $10,000 to Govan and keeping the remaining to themselves.
Likewise, some reports state that Young Dolph and Big Jook’s brother Yo Gotti’s long-term feud led to the incident. In 2014, Young Dolph began publicly saying that he had turned down an offer to join Gotti’s CMG record label, leading to their years-long feud.
However, the case investigation has highlighted the complex relationships and conflicts within the Memphis rap scene.
