Bella Brave, who gained prominence on TikTok after her parents, Lyle, and Kyle Thomson, began documenting her lifestyle with debilitating major health problems, has passed away at the age of 10.
On July 15, 2024, her mother, Kyla, announced the heart-breaking news on her social media handle, stating, “Our brave girl left her legacy here on earth to dance on streets of gold July 14th …Bella passed peacefully in our arms…..”
Well, Bella was diagnosed with three genetic conditions: a bowel disease named Hirschsprung, a Severe combined immunodeficiency that even a common cold could snatch her life, and a form of dwarfism called cartilage hair hypoplasia.
According to doctors, the genetic condition that Bella Brave had was implied to her parents, Lyle and Kyla Thomson, if they ever wanted to have more babies. So, to avoid it, they went through IVF.
In the process, they examined five embryos, one of which had the same condition as Bella. The other embryo wasn’t fit for implantation, but eventually, among the three remaining, they chose the one and implanted it. As a result, they welcomed an absolutely healthy baby boy in 2019.

According to DailyMail, Bella’s mother, Kyle Thomson, was a primary school teacher. She left her teaching career to become a full-time mother to her ill child ever since her birth in 2013.
After years of experience as a medical mom to her child, Kyle recently announced the good news to her virtual family: She is diving into the world of public speaking.
On February 23, 2024, she shared an Instagram post titled “Exciting News! 🌟 Thrilled to announce my new journey into keynote and public speaking!“
Kyle further stated that sharing stories has always been her passion. Now, being a public speaker, she is elevating her passion. In the post, she also mentioned that she is hopeful about the same kind of opportunities in the near future.
