She bagged the Best Actor award for the first film in which she portrayed the character of music legend Billie Holiday.
While receiving the award, she thanked God, her family, the cast and crew of the film, and her fellow nominees. “The amazing, transformative, dynamic Billie Holiday, who just transformed me with this role and with her presence and with her spirit,” said Andra, Huffpost reports.
