Susanna Reid was supposed to be seen on the Good Morning Britain sets after her return from summer break, but Ranvir Singh filled in for her on Tuesday morning, leading to quitting rumors.
The host of the Good Morning Britain show, Susanna Reid, returned to work on Monday after a break from June to September, but she had to step out on Tuesday, just one day after returning.
So, the British journalist Ranvir Singh took her place for Tuesday’s episode of the show, during which she clarified the reason for Susanna’s absence.
“A very good morning to you and of course you will be wondering where Susanna is this morning. Well, one of her boys has been taken unwell overnight and so she needs to stay with him but we are here for you this morning,” said Ranvir, as per Wales Online.
As Ranvir Singh explained the reason for the absence of Susanna Reid, it is clear that she has a family emergency and is not quitting the show.

Susanna Reid started her career as a news producer at BBC Radio Bristol in 1994 and became a producer for Radio 5 Live in 1996.
Later, she spent two years as a reporter at BBC News 24, and during her tenure at BBC, she had her moment to shine on screen at BBC News 24 when a fellow failed to miss an evening shift.
According to the BBC’s website, she stepped during such an emergency despite being pregnant, which led to her permanent position on the BBC News channel.
Then, in 2012, she became one of the main presenters on BBC Breakfast, presenting with Bill Turnbull on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
Furthermore, in March 2014, the BBC confirmed her shift to ITV’s breakfast program, Good Morning Britain, replacing its former breakfast show, Daybreak.
Susanna co-presents the show from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Wednesday with rotating male presenters and with Ben Shephard every Thursday. It’s been a decade since Susanna started hosting Good Morning Britain.
