28 years old tennis player Li Tu, who recently competed against Carlos Alcaraz in the US Open Tennis 2024, is an absolute family man considering the beautiful relationship that he has with his wife Kimberley Tu.
Not often, but Li expresses his emotions towards his wife on his social media handle. On April 5, 2021, he shared his picture with his better half on Instagram, captioning it, “Blessed to be by your side 🙏🌹.”
Likewise, on December 19, 2021, Li Tu dedicated an Instagram post to his then-future wife Kimberley, mentioning that being with her was his favorite part of 2021.
He further wrote, “You have been an absolute rock in my corner and so supportive of me while I have been on the road pursuing my dreams.”
Likewise, the Adelaide native also revealed that he and his now-spouse first met at the Sydney Airport gate in December 2020 and started seeing each other.
Li Tu and his wife, Kimberley Tu, married two months before their announced marriage date due to Li’s mother’s health condition!
Athlete Li Tu was all set to marry his then-girlfriend, Kimberley, on November 25, 2022, after being in a relationship for almost two years.
But the couple walked down the aisle two months prior, on September 3, 2022, considering that Li’s mother, Yu Ping Zheng, who was battling lung cancer, didn’t have much time left to see her son’s wedding.
In this regard, Li said, “It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life, where less than 20 people were at the wedding, and I got married to Kimberley, and my mom was there.” Twenty-one days later, on September 24, Li’s mother left the living world.
It’s been almost two years since his mother passed away, but Li Tu still feels her presence as he recently said, “She’s still with me. I truly believe that,” during an exclusive talk with the ATP tour.
Though his mom left him physically, Li Tu has his wife Kimberley by his side to support and help him go through whatever comes his way, good or bad.
